Work experience participants are typically students that have completed a Diploma in Massage or Beauty Therapy.
The Opportunity
- Six weeks work experience in a busy, modern and unique 5 star Day Spa located on the shore lines of the Great Barrier Reef
- Receive personal training in massage, facials, foot treatments, body scrubs, body clay wrap treatments and spa packages
- Have the opportunity to massage and treat clients
- Perform all spa treatments offered at our Day Spa
- Learn and perform front reception skills
- Receive retail sales training on treatments and Organic skin care
- Learn how to clean and maintain a Day Spa
- Single share accommodation with bathroom
- Return airfare home (not to exceed $150 - paid when 6 weeks has been completed on presentation of receipt )
- 1 day paid retail wage per week / 2 days off per week
- Accommodation & 3 meals per day provided
- Written reference subject to achieving predetermined performance criteria
